...there is NO sound or reasonable evidence that the Iraqi dinar will or can RV anytime soon...the window of opportunity quickly closed at the end of March 2019 when the government had the CBI send out the electronic payment files and paid out at the old 1180 rate. The only window we now know is for January 2020. Could this change? Yes, it could but there is no sign or evidence it has or will.
...So now April is just about gone and we will see what May brings us. Remember April showers brings May flowers so we wait and see…

I don’t know exactly how long this will take but it is very good news. I quote from the article. – “the change will raise the exchange rate of the Iraqi dinar against foreign currencies”. We wait and see what happens. How many times have we heard this and yet NOTHING ever happens?

I am extremely confident it is going to be in the first basket. Imo its 110% it will be in the 1st basket. Iraq has a considerable amount of dong in their treasury and Vietnam holds a considerable amount of IQD. They have been in this together from the get-go.
We are being told the rates are set...
[Will we see rates on forex before we exchange?]
I believe we will...start exchanging before they put the rate on forex. If they still want to keep things quiet they will want us to exchange and sign those NDA’s.
[Some gurus said that when Iraq goes international they can only hold back the new rates for 72 hours.?]
We do not have concrete proof that it is international over there yet. We do have concrete proof that rates are locked in and showing now though...
[Did Iraq truly close its borders over the weekend?]
I have a close friend in Iraq and he told me the borders near him were restricted...they were checking people for currency at the borders. So he assumed this was all over the country at all the borders but we do not know for sure.
...they are trying to get this done before Ramadan...is what we were told.

I cannot think of much reason that it would happen this year. Other than to think that it may happen when one would least expect it.
