What is a currency worth? Where does its value come from? What is the basis?

What is the worth of the treasure that God has put into the earth? For example, Gold in the ground is priceless. It has no value until human labor digs it out and refines it. So what is it worth? It is worth the human labor that God gives man strength to prosper and be in good health, to live without any added sorrow.

What is the worth of a human? In Mark 8:36 “For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul?” This indicates that God says a person is priceless beyond all the wealth in the whole world. So what is the worth of one person? Only God knows that. A person is worth whatever God deems a person to be worth. So valuable that He gave his only begotten Son to redeem mankind by way of the cross.

Therefore, since it is God, in whose image man is made, who gives us strength and the power to get wealth and adds no sorrow to it – “What is a currency worth?” Whatever we deem a currency to be worth.
