Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi said on Tuesday that he would make an official visit to Iran and America, revealing at the same time the conclusion of a new agreement between Iraq and Kuwait.

"We will have a visit to Washington and Tehran to discuss the situation in the region," Abdul Mahdi said at his weekly press conference, adding that "our visit to Kuwait has achieved positive results and came out with a new agreement."

Kuwait : We welcome any efforts to ease the escalation on Iran

Deputy Foreign Minister Khalid Al-Jarallah expressed his confidence that the escalation in the Gulf will not turn into a real war, pointing out that the United States and Iran have begun to move towards calm.

In a statement to reporters on the sidelines of his participation in a Ramadan table hosted by the Kuwaiti Foreign Ministry, Al-Jarallah said in response to Kuwait's efforts to calm the situation, "we must be very careful of the rapid pace of events in the region."

He stressed that Kuwait has the confidence that "wisdom and reason prevails and that calm is the master of the situation and that there is no clash in the region." He pointed out that "this confidence derives from the statements, where both sides expressed the American and Iranian unwillingness to war." "We within this circle believe that there is reason for hope and optimism that there will be control that does not pose a threat or a threat to the security of the region."

The Kuwaiti diplomat expressed his hope that the escalation would be similar to the North Korean crisis and would also end in negotiations between the parties to the conflict.
