Hi DC Family,
So my son was up in Michigan at a basketball camp, spending time with my father in law. At 3 AM I woke up to catch a 6:25 AM flight to Detroit to pick up my 8 yr old so he wouldn't have to travel alone. I made the flight and noticed the beautiful sky out the window. I ended up filming quite a few times on my way there. When I arrived, they wouldn't let my father-in-law come with us to our gate. I was supposed to have lunch with him and my son, but after they told him no, we said goodbye. My son and I had breakfast at McDonald's there in the terminal and caught a 12:25 PM flight back to Kansas City where we live. Because of a family connection the trips were free - which is a HUGE blessing. I took more short video clips on the flight back which I will turn into a nice video shortly.
I was hoping to sleep on one of the flights, but I'd been listening to my stop procrastinating mind reprogramming video quite a bit, that my mind was fully awake so I just kept "working" (filming) thinking about my YouTube channel, and the great opportunity I had to film high up in the sky. So here it is almost 19 hours later and I'm still going pretty strong. Must sleep now but just wanted to share this little story with you all. It's been a very long day but we made it fun and my son is happy to be home (and we are thrilled he's back).
I really hope between now and July 4th that our blessing will finally arrive. Please keep on listening to my videos at night (or when you can) because I'm living proof, they really do work! I'm also noticing that I'm more outgoing now and easily strike up conversations with strangers when before, I'd be too afraid to. Met some really nice people the past few days.
