A UN Security Council delegation will visit Baghdad on Saturday, the foreign ministry said Friday.
"A delegation from the Security Council will visit the capital Baghdad on Saturday," foreign ministry spokesman Ahmed al-Sahaf said in a brief statement received by al-Ghad Press.

The capital Baghdad tomorrow will host members of the UN Security Council for a one-day visit at the invitation of the government.

MP Sadiq Hamid al-Sulaiti, demanded an immediate investigation into the waste of 380 billion dinars annually of public money in the Ministry of Oil.
According to a document obtained by "Al-Ghad Press" by al-Sabiti on Thursday, "We have asked parliamentary questions and asked for information from the Ministry of Oil and the Office of the Inspector-General and asked us from the Financial Control Bureau and found us proved many violations and administrative irregularities between the oil tankers company and the Arab company,
The financial control books proved that the waste of public money is estimated at 380 billion dinars annually due to price concessions and the multiplicity of mechanisms of prices and selling without competition for the company. If iraq is joining wto and the budget law allows for countries to be protected and come in and invest then one would think their currency should soon be convertible ... at what rate ?? Who knows.. but some international value should be recognized just like the rest of the wto members currencies.. iraq is moving towards the west and will soon explode with investment... least that is how i see it.. IMO !!!!!

Russia and China have agreed to use their currencies in trade instead of the US dollar.
The agreement on the use of local currencies instead of the dollar was signed by Anton Silwanov, First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Minister of Finance, and I Gan, Governor of the People's Bank of China, on 5 June 2019.
The signing of the agreement was aimed at developing a settlement of payments resulting from trade with Russia's economic partners in local currencies and enhancing Russia's economic security, the paper quoted Deputy Minister of Finance Sergei Storchak as saying.
The Russian currency (ruble) is currently used to settle 10% of the payments resulting from the trade between Russia and China. In the next few years, the Russian parliamentarian, Aksakov, a member of the State Duma, expects to reach 50 percent. LINK

Russia and China have decided to dispense with the US currency in their trade accounts and rely on national currencies, a Russian newspaper reported that the two countries signed a government agreement in this regard.
According to the newspaper "Izvestia," the agreement was signed by the Russian Minister of Finance, Anton Silwanov, and the Chinese side President of the People's Bank of China, Yi Hang. The letter was signed between the two sides earlier this month, the letter said, adding that the move was aimed at boosting economic security for both countries.
The two sides are now working to organize payment channels between Russian and Chinese companies, and these channels will be a link between the Russian and Chinese payment systems, Izvestia added.
The ruble share in trade between the two countries is expected to rise from 10 percent now to 50 percent in the coming years. The newspaper also reported that Moscow and Beijing plan to use the Russian ruble and the Chinese yuan in dollar contracts. Trade between Russia and China last year surpassed the level of $ 100 billion, of which $ 56 billion is Russia's exports to China , compared to $ 52 billion in imports.
Linking Moscow and Beijing trade relations and economic ties, and countries seeking to promote trade between them to reach the level of $ 200 billion annually in the coming years.
