Iran receives the dues of exporting electricity to Iraq in dinars and euros
Iran's energy minister, Humayun Haeri, said on Sunday Iran was receiving the electricity export dues to Iraq in the dinar and euro currencies.
"Iran is currently receiving the dues of exporting electricity to Iraq in the two currencies of the dinar and the euro," Haeri said in a statement to the Fars news agency. "Baghdad paid 50 percent of the total debts in this regard."
He explained that "the volume of electricity exports to neighboring countries is 1200 MW in return for the import of 350 MW," pointing out that "the neighboring countries recognize the quality of Iranian electricity against the background of the strength of the network of electrical industry." link
