I understand your position. Fortunately for me, I bought my zim years ago when nobody thought it would ever RV and prices were a tenth of what they ate now.

And I am considering taking the 11 cents myself, because it would be free of obligation. If I need to make more, I know how to do that.

One factor you didn't mention was the interest you would get from the project you put your money into. If the rate is 10%, that means a $2.8m per 100t zim note after you take out your 20%. If you have a couple of quad, that's almost $60m/yr.

Not too shabby, if you ask me.
