Abdul Mahdi congratulates Iraqis on the inclusion of Babylon on the World Heritage List

Prime Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi presented congratulations and congratulations to the Iraqi people on the occasion of the inclusion of Babylon on the list of world heritage, returned it "another victory for the Iraq of civilization, which was and will remain a beacon of the whole world."
"I welcome the great efforts that have been made to make this file a success among the concerned people in the Ministry of Culture, Archaeologists, the supporting bodies and the media. I also extend my thanks to the countries that stood with Iraq and supported these efforts," Abdul Mahdi said in a statement.
"This occasion comes to add value to the status of Iraq among the nations, a reminder that Mesopotamia is already the backbone of human memory and the origin of the emergence of civilization since man began blogging," he said, hoping that "Babylon and other archaeological sites will receive attention and care. Seized a smuggled amount of gold estimated (50) kilograms northeast of Baghdad

A security source said on Saturday, seizing contraband quantity of gold is estimated at 50 kg, northeast of Baghdad.
