And we are all another week old, and deeper in debt. But so goes life in Dinarland. I'd move, but it IS my security deposit. Just don't want to give it up. I'm sure you all understand that.
But the RV does make sense. Like it or not, we still live in a world that runs on petroleum products. And this makes Iraq's a power among nations, even though they are still politically a basket case.
Sure, the US produces more for export, but the cost to produce a barrel of oil for us is $39. Now that's better than in Europe and China, Japan, and Australia. However, in Iraq and for other ME oil producers, their cost is ten bucks or less.
And that works out to around $28.50 a barrel less than we can produce it, a number rumored to be the contract rate we could see with the dinar.
