"Zim Rates" by Gene - 9.2.19

Hello Gene,

I cannot agree more! I look at it from the opposite direction of how much ONE troy ounce of Gold is worth (1 XAU converted to 492337.9678 ZWL) equals 492,337.97 Z$: 1.00 on Sept 2, 2019.

The Gold Bond, signed by Dr. G. Gono, the Governor for the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe states:

“I promise to pay the bearer on demand ONE HUNDRED TRILLION DOLLARS.”

We have been repeatedly told to be patient, and we have.

It appears that the switch occurs when the HSBC insinuates itself in the redemption process between Zimbabwe and the redeemer. China is buying the Bond at a “fire sell” rate, and then redeems it for the full amount from Zimbabwe; because, we relinquish the bond thinking we are redeeming the full amount, but we are only selling it to the Chinese who is sets the price. Perhaps this why MarkZ keeps referring to it as a “Zim Swap.” What a deal!

And, to those who claim we should be grateful, I say this: We agreed to use the funds for humanitarian purposes. We became trustees to manage the funds to give people better lives and clean up the polluted planet. It is up to the trustees to create methods for the benefit of America that Mr. Trump would approve. America First.

Signed,
Lulu
