So they are on notice again that the demonstrations will become very specific. They want what they deserve and I imagine, if they don't have things done ahead of the 10/25/2019 time frame, things will be a bit more aggressive.

I did notice a Minister yesterday doing the smart thing and that is get on board with the citizens. The elder generation, may be very careful on how they approach the youth. They are their future. The elderly are not getting any younger and biting the hand that may have to feed and clean you in the latter days, might take some thought to consider..

Fairly sure I would like to think that my health care in my latter days has some caring people, not ones that have memories of poor decisions when it comes to the equity lost from stealing their portion of the wealth. The citizens may not be so caring.. imo ~ MM

Former Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi, head of the coalition of the victory, said that the current confidence-building process led by Prime Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi needs to achieve a parliamentary majority.

"If we want to overthrow the government, we have to form a parliamentary majority, and this requires alliances that we have not yet reached, although there is dialogue," Abadi said in an interview published on Monday by Al Arabiya television.

Regarding the recent demonstrations, Abadi said that "failure to deal with popular demands today may lead to collapse, God forbid, especially in the presence of armed groups outside the state, and mafias of corruption dominating the state in general, and the lack of will to take the decision, which leads to the downfall of the situation.
