"Coronavirus Treatments" by Open Mind - 3.26.20

Just a heads up there are plenty of contraindications to the use of ginger and turmeric that has been touted as a cure all by so many companies the last 10 years. Most people I know who use too much ginger on a regular basis have liver issues and headaches now due to the excess heat rising. It is also clearly visible by the color of their skin. Also people who are iron deficient or on blood thinners should not be using turmeric since it is an anti-platelet. (Women lose enough blood every month and can certainly afford to stay away from turmeric. My best friend had a sever Spleen deficiency over 10 years ago and her neighbor advised her to take turmeric. She was getting worse and worse, covered in huge black bruises. Her husband finally contacted me and I told her to stop taking the turmeric. Her platelets were so low, 2000 count, she should have died. It took 2 years of every month adjusting her herbs to pull her out of that one.) My web pages list contraindications to herbs that have any. I would advise anyone giving herbal advise do the same thing. If one is going to use these 2 herbs it is highly advised the person’s constitution be able to handle them, use on short term, and use yin protecting herbs and blood builders to counteract their actions. An option is to use Gardenia which drains excess heat from all 3 burners and Achyranthes Root which will strongly direct the heat downwards plus blood building tonics, many available to research on my site such as He Shou Wu or Four Things Combination (Dang Gui, White Peony, Rehmannia Root and Ligusticum).

I wasn’t going to say anything but I cannot let this one go. I cannot see myself covered in worms. I am a gardener and have seen worm beds and that just doesn’t sit right with me being covered with a worm blanket although Di Long is used in some TCM formulas. I guess Russia has some different ways of curing things that may be a cultural thing so go for it. I just think drinking a cup of tea once or three times a day is much simpler.

The Best is Yet to Come!
