I'm sure many people will get mad at this. They will say that it's the message that's important, let us not nit-pick. But the truth is: I am a very forgiving person but errors like the one I am pointing out I could ignore in the beginning but it's now years that I have been following Dinar Chronicles and this is getting worse. I am afraid that it is going the way of Nuclear VS Nucular. Nucular is how George W Bush would say it when he was trying to push the presence of weapons of mass destruction in Iraq (Boy, did we get gypped!). The people so believed him and started pronouncing the word just like he did. This you detect when the word is spoken.
However, Principle VS Principal is bothersome on paper.
Please Contributors/ Article Writers, we are coming up to a Great Awakening, please pay more attention, let us not allow our intellect to deteriorate. Let us not perpetuate something that is wrong.
PRINCIPLE is a fundamental truth or proposition that serves as the foundation for a system of belief or behavior or for a chain of reasoning such as:
"It's against my principle to do a haphazard job when I know I can do better".
PRINCIPAL means
1. the person with the highest authority or most important position in an organization, institution, or group.
"a design consultancy whose principal is based in San Francisco" or the head of a school, college, or other educational institution
2. a sum of money lent or invested, on which interest is paid.
"the winners are paid from the interest without even touching the principal"
This is the word we usually mean to use when talking about financials.
And there you are. I hope I did not stir the pot too much. I know, it's a minor thing but don't you feel better? I do. I had been bothered by this and just talking about it is a relief.
