Maybe it is the color or the way the light hits the metal. But I think the design now looks a lot stronger. With more personality than on the early pictures.
Even though the interior is a vast improvement, it's not obviously better than a loaded Rav-4 or CR-V.
(But light years ahead of that poor Ford Escape rubbery looking interior )
That cheezy "wannabe luxury" quilted leather pattern looks like it might just be on a specific high-end version (The black interior above doesn't have it)
If they found a way to make the 2.5 Liter engine smoother and quieter, this could be quite nice for most people...
Recent Nissan models like the Sentra and Versa have been getting really good reviews so far. Especially due to their reasonable pricing for what you get.
Let's hope Nissan tries to price the new Rogue under its competition as well.
