Here's an old business practice that needs to be resurrected.
Example: I used to sell home heating oil at $3.00/gallon 8 years ago.
I guarantee my heating oil worked. It would provide excellent performance to heat your home. If you are a new customer that wants 100 gallons but don't know me, simply tear 3-$100 dollar bills in half. Give me half of each and I will deliver the oil. At this point the bills are useless to each of us. If your home stays warm until the next delivery, I'll pick up the other half of the bills at that time, and receive full payment for that delivery. If there's a problem keep the torn bills and oil until the situation is rectified. That leaves me out the oil and $300. Basically a $600 loss if my product fails to perform as stated.
I write this article because I'm tired of purchasing products that do not perform as is stated. I'm specifically referring to supplements and other health products. Yes I understand the restrictions and wording claims games that need to be played due to government nonsense.
Here's the question I have asked various supplement providers;
I understand you can't make cure claims. The health issues are left side paralysis due to stroke, diabetes, neuropathy, arrhythmia, high blood pressure etc... Would you take your product to REVERSE any of these issues if you had them?
How long would you take your product for?
I've taken products up to 2 years with no benefits. None of the issues were REVERSED. You can't get your money back for lack of product performance.
Start offering sellers to put the torn money where their mouth is. If they reject the offer, keep looking for another product.
