Dear IDC Family,
It pains me to ask you for help as I know so many of us are in need. I am literally at the end of my rope waiting for this GCR/RV to arrive to us, that is if it ever will. The date continues to change and I think I can make it, but to no avail.
I have just come off a month of having only 32 cents to live on for a week. It was awful, but I kept holding on anyway.
As soon as my social security comes in the middle of the month, all the money goes out that same day to pay bills, but it is NEVER enough. I already know that I will be overdrawn again and be hit with 35 dollar fees. It only serves to put me deeper into a hole.
I am 72 now and have had major health problems which have stopped me from working. My air condition went out 3 months ago and I spent several nights in 82 degree temperature in the house. It was pure misery! I got a new unit and got on a payment plan that will be due this month. The payment is $169.02. I don't have a clue as to how I will pay it! I have no money at all for groceries nor medications.
I realize that God is my provider but I also know that God works through other people. Could you find it in your heart to help me out if only with $5, $10, or whatever you can spare. I give you my heartfelt thanks! I have been suffering like this for the last 5 to 6 years and have had to file for bankruptcy, therefore I cannot get a loan mainly because I do not have enough income.
