" The Office of Poofness "
"Don't Stop"
[Lindsey Buckingham:]
If you wake up and don't want to smile
If it takes just a little while
Open your eyes and look at the day
You'll see things in a different way
[Buckingham and C. McVie:]
Don't stop thinking about tomorrow
Don't stop, it'll soon be here
It'll be here better than before
Yesterday's gone, yesterday's gone
[Christine McVie:]
Why not think about times to come?
And not about the things that you've done?
If your life was bad to you
Just think what tomorrow will do
[Buckingham and C. McVie:]
Don't stop thinking about tomorrow
Don't stop, it'll soon be here
It'll be here better than before
Yesterday's gone, yesterday's gone
[Buckingham and C. McVie:]
All I want is to see you smile
If it takes just a little while
I know you don't believe that it's true
I never meant any harm to you
[Buckingham and C. McVie:]
Don't stop thinking about tomorrow
Don't stop, it'll soon be here
It'll be here better than before
Yesterday's gone, yesterday's gone
[Buckingham and C. McVie:]
Don't stop thinking about tomorrow
Don't stop, it'll soon be here
It'll be here better than before
Yesterday's gone, yesterday's gone
[Buckingham and C. McVie:]
Don't you look back
Don't you look back
Don't you look back
Don't you look back

POOF SAID
Greetings and Salutations,
There are so many puddles and gaping holes and a lot of legal spoilers at work that will bring good for the little guy at some point. but it won’t show up for awhile yet.
There are those who want to run this thing into the ground but it can’t happen.
You all can be assured, what you have waited for will happen.. but not quite yet.
Love and Kisses,
Poof
SUSAN SAYS
Community,
Would You Rather?
Would you rather have an all-powerful God, or on an all-powerful government?
Would you rather have your annual income guaranteed by the government, or by the Creator?
Would you rather be dependent on God or the government?
Would you rather God know all your secrets or the government?
Would you rather have an all-loving God, or a militant government with a chip on its shoulder?
Would you rather your future be determined by your eternal Father, or by career politicians in Washington, D.C.?
Would you rather be protected by God's laws, or by the laws of legislators who can't agree on the Constitution?
Would you rather be partners with God or with the government?
Would you rather look for truth from God, or from the government?
Would you rather God be responsible for your welfare or the Government?
Would you rather God controlled your mind or the government?
Would you rather depend on God's resources or those of the government?
Would you rather believe that the government's generosity is greater than God's?
Would you rather your good came from praying right, or from voting right?
Would you rather your wealth be backed by Spirit, or by a government that's head-over-heels in debt?
Would you rather believe the chances for peace depended more on God, or on the government?
Knowing all this, let's continue to pray for, and to bless the government we have in paving the way to a government that works
for all.....

DID YOU KNOW?
I always try to follow the unwritten rule of never talking politics but recently I seem to be compelled.
My oldest son played football in high school. He was pretty good so I happily promoted and supported his effort. One year I sent him to a weeklong football camp. On the bus ride to the camp he got in a fight on the bus with one of the defensive lineman. When the bus reached its destination, the coach, to remedy the situation, require that they would spend the rest of the camp hooked to each other’s hip. They ate all meals together, stayed in the same room together, worked out together and sat next to each other through all meetings. They became best of friends and 20 years later, still are.
Our government must figure a way to work together even it requires taking members of both parties and hooking them to each other’s hip until they communicate and get along. Lock them in a room until their differencing are figured out. At least get them to a point of mutual respect where they will listen to each other with an open mind.
The constant bickering and polarizing does not, in any way, help the American people as a whole. It’s like having a mom and dad constantly arguing around their kids. When the kids grow up they pass it on to their kids and so the generations go only to become confused and grow on their own with no direction.
Over the years elections have morphed into mudslinging and insults. They used to be competitive but at least, for the most part, where respectful. A president would get dually elected and the other guy would shake his hand and wish him the best. The population, like the kids, because of “lack of leadership” lack direction and have become confused. The only ones getting hurt in this deal is the people that all of these officials are elected to look after. The population’s benefit and wellbeing is dismissed and disregarded, lost in this “dog fight” mentality.
There are concrete solutions to solve most all of the desperations that plague humanity. Poverty, the economy, health care, shelter, water and hunger could be resolved if the leaders of our societies had the capacity to unite in a common goal.
Our current president’s policies without question have accomplished amazing results but the guy just can’t learn the difference between being a boss and being a leader. A good leader has the ability to unite their people for the common good but a boss is really just a dictator. In the work world what the boss says, goes and they aren’t looking for your opinion just do as they say. And that’s okay because you’re getting paid to follow orders. It’s a job!!
But as it stands today politics, no matter where they are, is a nasty word to the common person. Our elected officials should only vote on issues, good or bad, that affect all of its citizens. Special interest issues need to be figured out on their own and quit making the exception to the rule the rule, at all levels of government. Quit stepping over dollars to pick up dimes and stop blowing out candles with tornados.
There is more organization in a monkey shit-fight then the current state of politics.
