One of the founding principles of the USA is the right to dissent. We would never have gained our independence from England had the Massachusetts colonists not stood up to King George.
Now, some of the MAGA people here have called me a troll and garbage because I don't agree with their POV. That's pretty sad, but not unexpected in an era where the President, whom they think the world of, resorts to name-calling any time someone disagrees with him.
If we can't agree to disagree and do it with a sense of comity, then I fear for the future of these United States.
