"Marathon Runner Comes in Last" by StarGazon - 12.9.19

- A friend shared this with me as I told him that my Mission here is to get as many of you as Possible Across the RV Finish Line Prepared for our POST RV World. ENJOY HIS SHARED STORY:

No True athlete will enter a competition with the mindset - I'll never win this! A True athlete already sees themselves crossing the finish line before the event even begins.

Years ago, at an Olympic event, there was a marathon runner who was coming a dismal last by a Large margin, yet the runner kept running even though he was far, far behind until he eventually staggered into the arena. The crowd had mostly given up and left, so there was a dismal cheering support as he ran the last lap, nevertheless he ran right to the end!

After he had finished, a news reporter asked him why he bothered to continue running, even when he knew there was no hope of even a place. He replied, my country didn't send me here to start a race, they sent me here to finish a race and so I have finished!

There are those who would have as many of us as possible – drop out due to despair and hopelessness! When we cross the finish, line is not important, but finishing the event is - because we are not running for ourselves but for the World! The runner mentioned above was a Winner, even though he was last!

Why? Because even before he started he - saw himself finishing, and completing the race was the fulfillment of that vision!

May we likewise have such a clear vision, stay the course, and ultimately, we Will see its fulfillment!

In-Joy,
