Until you made the same mistake all the others make.
Because none of you know the first thing about The Masonic Lodge you think it must be bad!
The Free Masons is the oldest fraternity on the planet.
The name "Free" came from the stone masons working on King Solomon's Temple. Because of their stone cutting and shaping knowledge they could not be enslaved and forced to work.
In the revolutionary times in this country the Masons played parts. The Masons were the people doing the "Boston Tea Party".
The First President George Washington was a Free Mason. And he was the "Worshipful Master of his Lodge.
The Free Masons can study and become Shriners!
Remember the Shriners' Crippled Children's Hospitals. The Shriners were Free Masons BEFORE they became Shriners!!!
The good things Masons do in communities is endless. They do their work behind the scenes because that's their way!
I hope this helps to clear up your idea of things you know nothing about!
