The kids live 35 miles from me in a small sleepy little logging town. Everyone knows everyone. Nothing ever happens there.
Last Thursday, I took my three grandkids to the city park, they are 6, 5, and 4. That's their favorite place since they were tiny. It has a road through the park, a creek and two play areas.
They take their bikes and I ride their scooter. I'm always telling them to stay close so I can see them.
That day a black SUV with blacked out windows came slowly through the park. It passed about 6 ft from us, way too close, going very slow. I could barely see a skanky woman driving and a man sitting in the middle of the back seat.
When we got back to the play ground it was parked there. The kids ran to the slide right in front of the car. I sat on the bench close by. It felt creepy. I got up walked to the front of the car. No licence plate. I walked to the back. No licence plate and no temporary tags on the back window. I'm sure they were watching me. I yelled at the kids to get down and get their bikes.
We headed across the drive behind them and I called the police. They didn't have anyone to get there in time. Slowly the car pull out of the parking place and slowly drove out of the park.
I went in the bushes and throw up. The kids are very beautiful and the thought of that going a different way made me sick. My son said I should have called him. He would have brought his shot gun. We were all pretty upset.
Now we know EVIL can find us anywhere.
